Partners + besties Keaka and Ashleigh teamed up to open Mana + Pua. SALT - a Contemporary European Bistro located in the heart of Honolulu in the urban dwelling known as S.A.L.T. At Our Kaka’ako. We wanted to create a casual food + drink environment that celebrates everything about living and growing up Hawaii. Oahu’s food and drink scene is all kinda hip savage with so many options to choose from. Our main goal - have a serious food and bar program in a very unserious and unpretentious fashion. We want you to feel comfortable knowing your dining experience is in our hands and let us focus on efficient service, classic wines + cocktails and extremely fresh, local food. We are located on the second floor with an open floor plan, a fresh breeze and urban city views. Join us for pau hana, Sunday brunch, light fare at the bar or a special dinner in the bistro. Her crowning achievements include the founding and success of Mana + Pua Wines, Mana + Pua Carmel, and Mana Pua Haleiwa, ventures that highlight her ability to build from the terroir up, crafting excellence at every stage. Most recently, Ashleigh launched Mana + Pua SALT at Kaka'ako, which has quickly become a standout success in the vibrant Honolulu dining scene. In less than a year, this innovative restaurant has garnered rave reviews, cementing Ashleigh's reputation for excellence and proving her ability to turn bold ideas into thriving realities.
Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Ashleigh is a staunch advocate for her community. She founded Nā Wāhine O Kalani, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Hawaiian female athletes. Through this initiative, she provides resources, mentorship, and opportunities that empower young women to excel, fostering resilience, pride, and success among the next generation of Hawaiian leaders.
